The lost and found bin in the Bookstore is overflowing. Please stop by and check for lost jackets, etc. All unclaimed items will be donated to charity at the end of the school year.
Interested in playing Powder Puff football? There are still a few spots for Junior and sophomore girls to sign up to play powder Puff football. Sorry but, the Senior and Freshman Rosters are full. There are also spots available in all classes for boys to sign up to be a cheerleader. If interested please see Mr. Kane in room 2106 ASAP as spots are going fast.
"Order a real red rose for that special someone to be delivered on Friday, February 12th. Pre-orders will be in the cafeteria both lunches starting Monday, February 8th through Thursday, February 11th. The cost is only $3.00 per rose. All proceeds will go to benefit Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society."
The Concert Choir is hosting a fundraiser - Monday Movie Night! Tonight from 5:30 to 9:00PM. Two movies will be shown including "Up!" and "Night at the Museum". Popcorn and a drink will be included with each ticket costing ONLY $5.00. Monday Movie Night will be held in the cafeteria. Come on out and see a couple of great movies and support the Choir!

It’s that time again to order that special someone a beautiful balloon bouquet for Valentine’s Day. The Spirit Store will be taking pre-orders for Valentine Day balloons starting January 29th and will continue taking orders through Feb. 11th. So don’t delay and order yours today.

AzTeen Magazine HOT 100 will be featuring Desert Ridge High School. Nominate your favorite peer, teacher, staff, coach or administrator. Pick up a flyer in the library or career center. Deadline is Friday, Feb. 12th.
All Juniors and Seniors interested in retaking the AIMS test to Exceed the Standard may sign up in Ms. Dunham's office by Friday, February 5, 2010. Testing dates are:
Writing - Tuesday, February 23
Reading - Wednesday, February 24
Math - Wednesday, April 7
Students: If you have a textbook for classes that you have completed or dropped, please return them to the Bookstore ASAP. .
If you are a member of the Math Club, club yearbook pictures will be taken after school on Thursday. Please check with Mrs. Bunger for the time to be sure that you are included in the Math Club photo for the yearbook. Also, check with Mrs. Bunger for the location. We will meet in Room 5113 on Thursday prior to the taking our club picture.
